Title Text: LifeCraft: Create a Life that Moves Sail Boat
     How Does Coaching Work?

Life Coaching is a powerful relationship for people making important changes in their lives.  Imagine a relationship where the total focus is on you, what you want in your life, and what will help you achieve it.  The coaching relationship is like that.  It's unique in that it consistently provides an extraordinary level of support and encouragement to keep you moving toward your goals and dreams.  Coaching provides an experience that enables clients to develop and utilize their resources to move forward into lives that express their deepest values and passions.  Although coaching is new to many people, it has been used for years to help executives and leaders increase their effectiveness.  Highly successful professional athletes, entrepreneurs, and celebrities leverage coaches to help them achieve their maximum potential.

Imagine what it would be like to have: a partner who supports you to recognize your personal values, and then to hold true to them; someone to celebrate your victories and help you gain wisdom from your setbacks.  Imagine having someone who reminds you, always, of your innate wisdom and helps you find the path back to it, time and time again, no matter how far a-field you may have found yourself.  This is the experience of having a Coach.

"…what makes her so wonderful is that she helps me be true to what I say is most important to me." C. G.

Coaching can be done in person, or via the phone, using email or fax to facilitate the work. This flexibility eliminates potential obstacles such as distance, a need for privacy, and other logistical factors.  When appropriate, our work together may involve my visiting your worksite.  Depending upon your goals the coaching may be facilitated through direct observation, or information-gathering from third parties.  The frequency and structure of our contacts are established in an initial agreement, which can be modified as your goals may require.

"Jan really listens to my needs and adapts her strategies continually to help me stay focused, week-by-week."  D.Z.

If you are ready to begin living a life that you've designed, that empowers and energizes you, the next step is to contact me. Because the connection between coach and client is essential, we will engage in a brief, introductory coaching conversation so you will be able to get an idea of how we would work together.
